In La Liga, Valencia faced Real Sociedad. In an interview with the media, Valencia captain José Luis Gaya shared his thoughts on the team's first match of the new season.  

José Luis Gaya said: "The tempo of this match was very high, it didn't feel like a league opener at all, and the second half was very intense.
