Justin Kluivert highlighted the team's cohesion and fighting spirit as Bournemouth came from behind to defeat Fulham 3-1 at the Vitality Stadium. The Dutchman came off the bench to add to Antoine Semino's brace with a long-range strike (around 30 yards) to extend Bournemouth's unbeaten league run to six games.
Justin Kluivert said Bournemouth maintained their belief throughout the match. He said after the game: "This victory means a lot to us. Even after falling behind 0-1, we still showed team cohesion and fighting spirit."
"It's too early to talk about goals now, but we will do our best to strive for the best results. I always emphasize that the team's mentality should be positive and not depressed, and we will stick to this."
In the 60th minute, Justin Kluivert came on as a substitute and the game against Fulham entered a white-hot stage.
Asked what head coach Andoni Iraola said to him before he came on, Justin Kluivert said: "He told me to focus on what I do best and I believe I showed that with my performance.
"I mentioned before that we have a very good team with many talented players. Even though I didn't play at the beginning of the season due to injury, the team still performed well. After a great season, it was not easy for me to integrate into the team again. I had to prove myself again in every game, and I hope I have done that."
