Aston Villa defender Ezri Konsa said in an interview with the club that the team is in good shape and full of confidence after the international match day and is ready to face Tottenham in the Premier League away game.

Aston Villa secured a four-game winning streak before the October international break, securing a top spot in the Premier League. Unai Emery's team boasts a strong attacking and defensive performance, while Konsa earned a call-up to the England squad for his consistent performances. He played in both matches, contributing one assist and keeping two clean sheets.

Talking about his recent situation, Konsa said: "It is always a pride to be able to represent the national team. It feels great not only to play in the game, but also to help the team win two games and keep a clean sheet."

"For me, the key is to stay consistent, keep improving and give my all in every match. So far, things have been going really well and hopefully, it can continue like this."

Looking ahead to the match against Tottenham, Konsa revealed that the atmosphere in the dressing room is positive: "We are unbeaten in our last four games and everyone is looking forward to Sunday's game. The team's morale is high and we hope to continue our winning streak away from home and achieve our goal."

Rival Tottenham Hotspur are currently fifth in the Premier League, having lost just one of their seven games. Despite a mediocre performance in the league last season, they ultimately won the Europa League. Konsa believes that the Tottenham team managed by Thomas Frank remains strong.

"They are a very good team that has maintained a high level for many years. Although they did not perform well in the league last season, winning the Europa League shows that they are still top competitive. We know this will be a difficult game and we know we have to go all out," Konsa added.
