On October 7, at the 2025 League of Legends Pacific Championship (LCP) annual awards ceremony, the 18-year-old mid laner HongQ from CFO won both the Best Rookie of the Year and Best Player of the Year honors, becoming the most dazzling new star in the history of LCP.

HongQ demonstrated a dominant performance in his debut season, leading CFO to win all three division championships throughout the year and becoming the only team in the world to qualify for all international competitions.

Born in 2007 , HongQ entered the professional scene at the age of 15. After officially joining the CFO team in 2025 , he quickly rose to prominence. He led his team to victory in the Spring Split, securing a spot at the MSI . He displayed a strong mentality and skill against Faker 's T1 . Although they fell short, his solid performance re-evaluated the competitiveness of the LCP region.

Back in the Summer Split, CFO maintained a 23- game undefeated streak in Bo series, securing the championship with undeniable confidence.
