Fiorentina announced on Monday that they have secured the loan of Leeds United winger Jack Harrison until the end of the season. The loan fee for Harrison is €1 million, with an option to buy for €7 million.
Other reports indicate that Fiorentina will cover part of Harrison's salary during his loan spell.
Harrison, 29, has played for Leeds United since July 2018, making 219 appearances, scoring 34 goals and providing 32 assists. He was also loaned out to Everton for two seasons (2023-2025), during which he made 73 appearances, contributing 5 goals and 4 assists.
So far this season, Harrison has only made one start under Daniel Falk. In contrast, Brendon Allensen, Noah Okafor, and Wilfried Gonotto are more favored by Falk.
For Fiorentina, who are under immense pressure to avoid relegation, Harrison's arrival is a godsend. They currently sit 17th in Serie A with a record of 3 wins, 8 draws, and 10 losses, accumulating 17 points, and are only temporarily above the relegation zone on goal difference.
According to the official announcement, Harrison will wear the number 17 jersey at Fiorentina.
