Luca Digne says Aston Villa are looking to respond positively in their Premier League away game against Newcastle United on Sunday. Last week, the team suffered a defeat to Everton in the league, ending their 11-game home winning streak and marking their third league loss since August.  

After defeating Fenerbahce in European competition, Luca Digne and his teammates will travel to Tyneside to try and regain their winning rhythm in the Premier League.  

Luca Digne said: "The environment at St. James' Park is unique, and it will be a tough game on a difficult pitch. We hope to play a high-quality game there. There is a clear difference between home and away games in the Premier League."  

"Playing away from home, our opponents will have strong support from the fans, which undoubtedly increases the difficulty of the game. We hope to achieve something in the Premier League match against Newcastle United, which is our primary goal."  

This away game against Newcastle United comes right after Aston Villa played a Europa League match in Türkiye, winning 1-0.  

Luca Digne stated that the team has gradually adapted to recovering quickly after the European competitions and will be fully prepared on Sunday. He pointed out: "Returning from European competitions is always challenging because the journey is long, but we now know how to better handle this situation."  

“We know how to recover and rest, and the club has done a very good job in this regard. Our goal is to win every game and accomplish our objectives in our own way.”  

Luca Digne recently celebrated his fourth anniversary with Aston Villa, and he expressed great satisfaction with the team's overall performance on the pitch. He said, "Time flies, and the direction the club is heading is impressive. I'm very proud to be a part of it and to be a part of this team."  

"This is an outstanding team and a warm and united family. We get along very well, and it is very gratifying to be able to work together here."
