Mark Cucurella highly praised the unity and fighting spirit shown by his Chelsea teammates. After trailing by two goals, Chelsea ultimately came from behind to defeat West Ham United 3-2. This Premier League match at Stamford Bridge was a rollercoaster ride, with Chelsea achieving a feat never before accomplished in the club's history after trailing 0-2 at halftime, and securing all three points at the final whistle.  

Chelsea players displayed tremendous fighting spirit in the second half, refusing to succumb to defeat and relentlessly seeking opportunities to equalize. João Pedro's header ignited the team's hopes, followed by Marc Cucurella's close-range header to level the score.  

However, the climax of the match was yet to come. In stoppage time, Enzo Fernandez calmly slotted home a cross from João Pedro, securing a dramatic victory for Chelsea and sealing the win. This seemingly impossible victory was finally over. It's worth noting that this was the second time in four days that Chelsea had come back from behind in the second half, with the final score being 3-2. Previously, in their midweek Champions League match away against Napoli, Chelsea had also trailed 1-2 at halftime.  

After the match, Marc Cucurella said, "We are really happy because all our efforts were for this moment, and this game fully demonstrated the team's spirit. When we were down 0-2 at halftime, there were a lot of doubts about us, and perhaps not many people believed in us. But we communicated fully during halftime, returned to the field with full energy, and finally completed the comeback, which makes us extremely happy."

Marc Cucurella was one of three players who came on as a substitute after halftime and had a crucial impact, as head coach Liam Rossenier sought to change the game through substitutions. After two substitutes combined to score the opening goal, the Spanish player also found the net. Wesley Fofana delivered a cross, João Pedro headed it in, and then the Brazilian provided the assist for the winning goal. However, Cucurella emphasized after the match that the comeback was the result of the entire team's collective effort.  

He said: "Ultimately, we are a team, and the most important goal is to win the game. I think in many games, not just today, the substitutes have made important contributions to the team. This game was very difficult, and West Ham United played very well in the first half, and we also need to give them credit."
