Crystal Palace captain Marc Guehi led his team to victory against Aston Villa, with the team's defensive performance being excellent and perfect to advance to the FA Cup final in 2025. Crystal Palace defeated Aston Villa 3-0 with Eberechi Eze and Ismaila Sarr scoring two goals in the first and second half respectively.  

Ismaila Sarr then scored a second goal deep into injury time to cap off a fantastic night and secure their first FA Cup final since 2016.  

After the game, Marc Guehi stressed that the Crystal Palace team would not become complacent and expressed his gratitude to the fans who supported them. He said that the team's focus has turned to the crucial final next month.  

Marc Guay said: "This is a very challenging game. When facing a strong opponent, the victory or defeat often depends on the grasp of the key moments."  

"Today we showed real team spirit and a positive mentality, we didn't rush things and most importantly continued to stay focused. At least now we can relax a little and enjoy another semi-final and see who we will face."  

"Since the beginning of the season, the atmosphere at every game has been the same, whether at home or away. I really want to thank the fans for their support along the way."  

Guehi also praised manager Oliver Glasner and goalkeeper Dean Henderson, who made a fine save to keep the clean sheet.  

Marc Guay said: "Dean Henderson played very well and helped the team at key moments. Oliver Glasner has high quality and brings a lot of energy and support to the team every day. He is a great coach."
