Maxence Lacroix says Crystal Palace showed their team spirit in their 0-0 draw with AFC Bournemouth, a positive result achieved despite playing with just 10 players in the second half of the game.
“This result is really positive for the team because the team faced difficulties last week, especially for a defender like me,” said the defender.
"We showed our team spirit in this game. We were difficult to play against and they didn't have many chances today because we were united. I think this is the importance of unity. We all fight for each other, so we don't need to think too much."
"It's a good mentality, play well, recover well and avoid injuries. Next, we will be ready for the game against Arsenal."
Commenting on the decision to send Chris Richards off at half-time for accumulating two yellow cards, which led to the opponent's numerical advantage, Maxence Lacroix said: "I think the game was really difficult because we got the red card. That red card was a punishment for us and it really made the game extremely difficult."
"Despite all that, we still showed a good mentality and that's what we need to remember. Anyway, I think this point is a very good result for us. Like I said, the most important thing is that we showed a good mentality and everyone tried their best."
