The Phoenix Suns have officially announced the hiring of former Cleveland Cavaliers assistant coach Jordan Ott as their new head coach.

For the first-time head coach of an NBA team, this is a new starting point with both challenges and opportunities. Ott, 40, has 12 years of NBA coaching experience and has played for the Atlanta Hawks, Brooklyn Nets, Los Angeles Lakers and Cleveland Cavaliers. He is known for his diligence and tactical execution, especially in the design and adjustment of the offensive end.
