Callum Wilson's stoppage-time goal secured a 2-1 victory for West Ham United over Tottenham Hotspur in the derby, leaving manager Nuno Espirito Santo overjoyed. West Ham continued their momentum from last week's FA Cup third-round win against Queens Park Rangers, taking the lead in North London before Tottenham equalized through a second-half goal from Christian Romero. However, West Ham ultimately secured the three points thanks to a decisive goal from Callum Wilson in a goalmouth scramble.  

In the 15th minute, Cristiano Somerville opened the scoring, igniting a brilliant first half for West Ham United and giving them a lead going into halftime. Nuno Espirito Santo was satisfied with his players' tenacious fight in the second half, ultimately securing three points in a dramatic turn of events.
