Nottingham Forest announced on its official website on Saturday that the club has signed Italy international defender wonderkid Nicolò Savona from Juventus.

According to the Premier League club's official statement, Savona has signed on a five-year long-term five-year deal with the club which runs until the summer of 2030. He will also wear the number 37 jersey.

After completing his joining procedures, Savona who was interviewed by the Nottingham Forest official website fot the first time, said: "I am very excited to be here. This is a new experience for me both as a person and as a player. This is a club with a long history, and this move is a dream come true for me."

"I can't wait to play in front of the fans at the City Ground. I will give my all for this jersey."

About Nicolò Savona

Nicolò Savona, 22, was born on March 19, 2003, in Aosta, Italy. He is 1.92 meters tall and primarily plays right back, but can also play as a center back or right midfielder.

Savona joined Juventus' youth academy at the age of eight and was loaned-out to SPAL's youth academy. Upon returning from his loan spell in the summer of 2022, he began playing for Juventus' U23 team and completed his Juventus first-team debut by coming on as a substitute in August 2024.

Last season, Savona made 40 appearances for the Serie A giants in all competitions, scoring two goals and providing one assist. During which he helped the club reach the quarterfinals of the Coppa Italia, the semifinals of the Supercoppa Italiana, and the round of 16s of the FIFA Club World Cup.
