Leicester City secured another victory of the season with a 2-0 victory over Birmingham City. Goals from Abdel Fattahau and Ricardo Pereira secured their third Sky Bet Champions League victory in four games, while also maintaining their 100% home win record. Afterwards, Oliver Skipp praised his teammates' fighting spirit.  

Oliver Skipp admitted that the game might not have been spectacular, but he believed that it was because all the players stood up in the intense physical confrontation that the team was able to get another three points against Charlton Athletic.  

After the game, Oliver Skipp said: "We are very happy because we knew it would be a tough match. The opponent is a growing team and is more confident than last year, so we had to go all out in the game. In the end, we were able to win the game and we felt very happy on the court."  

“It was crucial to get the fans on board and start quickly, and we did that. Abdel Fattah had another great finish, which has become his style, and I hope he can keep it up. Sometimes we had to retreat to the box and focus on defending, which is also commendable, as we did well in the crucial moments.”  

“It was a high-intensity match with excellent performances from both midfielders. Both teams tried their best to show their style of play. Sometimes we controlled the game and sometimes the opponent had the advantage. But we knew it would be a battle of attrition in the midfield, so we were well prepared.”  

The midfielder secured another victory before the international break, a result he says provides a solid foundation for improvement upon the team's return to action, with more time to train under Marty Cifuentes.  

He added: "It's always a gratifying feeling to win this kind of game, after all, we haven't played for a few weeks. We don't want to dwell on a bad performance or the regret of losing three points, so we know that we still have a lot to improve. The head coach has been in office for less than a month, and as the season progresses, our performance will definitely get better and better. However, we are very happy to be able to get the three points."  

"You can see that we may not be in our best form yet, but I believe we will gradually adapt through training. Even if we don't play at our best, we still have to fight for points. Getting 9 points out of 12 is a good start, and we need to keep working hard. Especially at home, we hope to be a team that can control the game, show our style of football, and work hard to maintain it."
