With less than a week to go until the 2024-25 Champions League final between Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan, Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi shared his thoughts with the media at the pre-match press conference.  

Simone Inzaghi said: “It’s been two years since I last gave a press conference before a Champions League final and it’s a very moving moment. We reached an important milestone and played some great games but we are just one step away from fulfilling our dream and making history.  

"From today on, we will go all out to prepare for the game. The league has left a deep mark on us, there is no denying that. The players and I have gone through a huge test."  

"I'm still thinking about the lineup. We just finished the league on Friday and today we entered the preparation stage for this week's game. I hope all the players can get a chance to play. We are optimistic about the status of Pavard and Zielinski. We will face the game with the most professional attitude, go all out, and show our best level in the final."  

When asked how important the fighting spirit was in this game, Simone Inzaghi said: "It was crucial. This team always showed a strong fighting spirit on the field. I am proud to coach such a team. Next we will face a strong opponent, just like we have played against Barcelona and other strong teams before."  

“Although there will be difficult moments along the way, we must be fully prepared. Reaching two finals in three years is extremely rare, so we must perform well in the competition to make history. Paris Saint-Germain will face a team that is also determined to win and is determined to put in a great performance in the final.”  

“Paris Saint-Germain is a strong team with many technically proficient players. The team has a strong lineup and a coaching team that focuses on tactical discipline and is experienced. We will go all out in preparation because we know that Inter Milan can only win if they perform well.”
