In the game between the Golden State Warriors and the Houston Rockets, with 4 minutes and 14 seconds left in the fourth quarter, Pat Spencer pushed Dillon Brooks, and then Alperen Sengong collided with Pat Spencer, who hit Alperen Sengong with his head. The situation got out of control and Pat Spencer was ejected.  

The Golden State Warriors appeared to have no chance of advancing to Game 5 of their first-round series when head coach Steve Kerr cleared his bench with about five minutes left in the third quarter and the Houston Rockets' Ime Udoka made the same decision with about a minute left in the same quarter.  

With eight minutes remaining, Golden State's bench cut the deficit to 17. Houston's starters returned to the court, while Golden State's bench remained on the court with four minutes remaining.  

Pat Spencer pushed Dillon Brooks to the ground while fighting for a rebound, and then Alperen Sengon collided with Pat Spencer, who hit Alperen Sengon with his head. Then, Trayce Jackson-Davis pushed Alperen Sengon, and players from both teams quickly rushed forward to separate the two.  

Alperen Sengon and Trayce Jackson-Davis were both assessed technical fouls, while Pat Spencer was ejected for his actions .
