As a semi-finalist in 2022 , Poland quickly rebounded after two consecutive losses in the final stage of the group stage and now won back their confidence with a tenacious victory.

Bosnia and Herzegovina started the game on a hot streak, going on a 13-2 run and maintaining a 31-21 lead late in the first quarter. Poland trailed 40-44 at halftime . Entering the third quarter, Bosnia and Herzegovina briefly led 55-47 , but Poland capitalized on a 10-1 run to take their first lead, 57-56 , and close the quarter at 62-61 . Poland rekindled their momentum in the final quarter, using an 11-2 run to extend their lead to 76-68 . Jordan Lloyd 's clutch jumper in the final minute sealed the victory.

Lloyd finished with 26 points, hitting three three-pointers , and also had two rebounds, one assist, one steal, and one block. Captain Ponitka remained consistent, contributing 19 points, nine rebounds, and three steals, becoming a key force on both offense and defense. For Bosnia and Herzegovina, Nurkic scored 20 points, and Robertson added 19 , but unfortunately left the game due to an injury in the final quarter.
