In the third round of the 2025 Club World Cup group stage, Manchester City defeated Juventus 5-2 with goals from Doku, Haaland, Foden and Savio. Manchester City striker Doku said the team had scored some very exciting goals and victories, and that the players were getting to know each other better.

In the 26th minute, Juventus defender Kalulu accidentally kicked the ball into his own goal, allowing Manchester City to take the lead again with 2-1.

In the 52nd minute of the second half, Nunes made a cross pass and Haaland shot the ball into the empty goal, helping Manchester City expand its lead to 3 to 1. In the 69th minute, Savio assisted Foden to score in the empty goal, helping Manchester City to change the score to 4 to 1.

In the 76th minute, Haaland's shot was blocked by Juventus goalkeeper Di Gregorio, and then Savio scored from a long shot near the top of the penalty area, helping Manchester City to continue to expand its lead to 5 to 1. In the 84th minute, Yildiz broke through the defense and passed the ball, and Vlahovic received it and pushed the ball into the goal, helping Juventus to change the score to 2 to 5.

In the end, Manchester City defeated Juventus 5-2 and met the challenge of the round of 16 as the first place.
