Rodrigo Gomez believes that if the team can maintain its current effort and pace, it has a chance to achieve the desired result.

Rodrigo Gómez is looking to make up for lost time and has shown positive form in the second half of the season after a 10-week injury layoff. The young player missed November and December due to groin surgery and was sidelined during Rob Edwards' tenure as manager.

In his first match in charge of the new manager, Rodrigo Gomez scored in the FA Cup match against Shrewsbury Town. He then made substitute appearances against Newcastle United and Manchester City, delivering impressive performances in both games. He hopes to fully recover from his injury woes and begin consistently contributing to Rob Edwards and the fans.

After recovering from his injury, Rodrigo Gómez said: "This was the first time I had surgery in my career, and it was during the competition period, which made the process even more difficult. No player wants to be injured, let alone go to the operating table, but I tried to adjust my mindset. I knew I had to do everything I could to recover as quickly as possible, and I did. I worked closely with the medical team, did a lot of rehabilitation training, and also did a lot of preparation at home."

“I was very excited when I started training with my teammates again because playing football is one of my favorite things. I knew I had to be careful because my physical condition wasn’t fully recovered in the initial stages, and sometimes the coaching staff would ask me to reduce the amount of training.”

"It feels amazing to be back on the pitch. Those ten weeks were incredibly difficult for me because I couldn't do what I love most. The moment I scored was unbelievable, everything seemed so perfect. I've worked so hard to get back into shape, and being able to play again means a lot to me."

“I made my Braga first-team debut at a very young age, playing my first professional game at 17. My playing time increased in my second season, but then decreased again, so my career has been full of ups and downs. Later, before joining Wolves, I was loaned to Estoril in Portugal.”

"The most important thing is to always maintain your belief in yourself. Things don't always go as planned. Of course, no one in the club wants to be at the bottom of the Premier League table, but reality is often full of uncertainty. We must face the current situation with a positive attitude, continue to believe in ourselves, and strive to change the situation through hard work every day."

“I hope to play as much as possible and help the team. I hope to score more goals and provide more assists to help the team win more games. Of course, we must face the current difficult situation, but at the same time, we must maintain our belief. We need to fight game by game. Right now, we have the game against Bournemouth, and we will do our best to win it and then continue to work hard in each game.”

“We want to win every game and keep improving our overall level. I think the team is in pretty good form right now; we were unbeaten in five games before the Manchester City game. We need to continue this momentum because the game against Manchester City will undoubtedly be very difficult. Especially in the second half, we played very well and put a lot of pressure on our opponents. If we can maintain this effort and rhythm, we have a chance to achieve a good result.”

“I really enjoyed working with Rob Edwards. He’s so energetic, which was evident in our daily training sessions. When he first joined the team, I was injured and could only train alone on the sidelines, but I would observe his training methods. I admire him because he’s just as energetic as I am. I love his training style, and he does an excellent job. He put in tremendous effort and did everything he could to help the team during our most difficult time. Now we’re starting to see the rewards, but we still need to keep working hard.”
