Santiago Bueno admitted it had always been his dream to score his first goal for Wolves, but he was left with a sense of regret after the draw at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.  

The Uruguayan's goal on his debut looked set to give Wolves their first Premier League win of the season in north London, but Santiago Bueno admitted to feeling the bitterness of conceding a late goal against Tottenham Hotspur.  

Santiago Bueno said: "It is regrettable to lose three points in the final moments, but this point is still important for us. Because we are going through a difficult period, this result will help guide us in the right direction."  

“I’m absolutely delighted to score my first goal for Wolves. It’s a dream come true for me. I’ve always wanted this moment and to do it in this stadium against such a strong opponent makes it extra special.”  

Recalling the process of scoring the goal, he said: "My responsibility was to act as a screen. I successfully blocked my teammate's shot and the ball was passed to the goalkeeper. After several rebounds in the six-yard box, the ball finally fell at my feet. I poked the ball into the goal with my toes, which made me very happy. Although it was a pity that the opponent equalized in the final moments, at least we got a point."  

When talking about the team's recent positive performance, he said: "Our mentality has changed. The players have communicated with each other and taken responsibility for the current situation. I think everyone has shown due sense of honor and responsibility, which has made our team image more positive."
