Sean Dyche was pleased with his team's response during the match. Nottingham Forest came from behind to beat Leeds United 3-1, securing their first Premier League victory since August.  

This victory not only marked Sean Dyche's first Premier League win since taking charge of Nottingham Forest, but also extended the team's unbeaten run across all competitions to three games. Dyche stated that the victory was significant for the team. He emphasized that seeing the positive energy from training reflected in the match was very gratifying.  

Sean Dyche stated, "For a variety of reasons, we needed to make some adjustments, such as our wording regarding the winning mentality. I've already talked about the positive signs on the training field and the encouraging results of the strategies we adopted in the game."  

“For me, the most crucial thing is the shift in mentality, which is very important throughout the Premier League season. Although we were down by one goal against Manchester United, we eventually drew, showing the team’s ability to turn things around. We are currently working on getting the players healthy and improving their alertness. So far, all signs are very positive.”  

"They did score a beautiful goal, but to be honest, I didn't think they posed a significant threat to us in the first half, and they didn't have any particularly outstanding performances in the second half either. Throughout the game, we either took the initiative or suppressed them. With improved physical fitness, I believe we will be able to put more pressure on our opponents in future matches."  

Sean Dyche was pleased with the team's victory, but he also acknowledged that the team is still in a phase of improvement. However, all indications suggest that Nottingham Forest has the potential to perform even better for the remainder of the 2025/26 season.  

He continued, "We still have many problems to solve, such as keeping a clean sheet, not winning for a long time, and not scoring enough goals from open play, but these all take time. Overall, I am satisfied with the work of myself and the team, as well as the efforts of the players, and the fans played their part as they did today."  

“We must stay united because the season isn’t over yet, and nothing is taken for granted. However, there are some positive signs, and they are quite clear. If we stay united, we can take better care of the team, which is what we’ve been working towards.”
