Strasbourg issued a statement on Monday confirming that it has completed the contract extension with head coach Liam Roseño. The new contract will extend the original framework by one year and will be valid until June 30, 2028.

Liam Rosenho, 40, has been a coach since August 2018 and is considered one of the best young coaches in England. He initially served as an assistant coach at Brighton U23 and Derby County, and in November 2022 he coached the Championship team Hull City for the first time.

In July 2024, Rosseño replaced Patrick Vieira as Strasbourg coach. Under his leadership, Strasbourg currently ranks 7th in Ligue 1 with 15 wins, 9 draws and 7 losses, with 54 points, tied with Lyon in the European war zone.

After completing the contract extension, Rosenho said: "Joining Strasbourg is the wisest decision in my career and I am extremely proud to be able to renew my contract with them. I am deeply moved by the renewed trust that Chairman Mark Keller and the club have given me, and I hope to repay their trust on the court."
