Stuttgart have triggered their buy-out clause to permanently sign Bilal Hannus from Leicester City.

According to an exclusive report by Sky Sports Germany on Thursday, Stuttgart has made the move to permanently acquire Moroccan attacking midfielder Bilal Hannus from Leicester City. While official confirmation is still pending, the deal is essentially finalized.
Sky Sports Germany further reports that Hannus' buyout fee was €18.5 million. The two sides also signed a four-and-a-half-year contract, valid until June 30, 2030.
The 21-year-old Hannus came through the Anderlecht youth academy but moved to Genk U15 in 2019 due to limited playing time. He made his professional debut on May 21, 2022, in the Belgian First Division A playoffs, and joined Leicester City in August 2024 for £21 million.
After one season with Leicester City, Hannus joined Stuttgart on a loan-to-buy deal. To date, he has made 31 appearances for Stuttgart, scoring 8 goals and providing 4 assists.
For Stuttgart, Hannus' arrival effectively filled the void left by Enzo Milott's departure. The player himself has no intention of leaving Stuttgart, even though the Premier League has shown some interest in him.
