Wolves captain Totti Gomez stated that the team must carry the organization and fighting spirit they displayed in the first 45 minutes against Chelsea into the relegation battle. In the first half, Wolves showed resilience at Stamford Bridge, drawing with Chelsea. However, in the second half, the home side increased the pace, and Wolves ultimately couldn't withstand the pressure.  

The Premier League will be suspended during the final international break of 2025. However, several Wolves players, including captain Totti Gomez, will remain at Compton Park to continue training, hoping to turn around their poor form this season.  

Totti Gomez stated, "We need to build on our current performance and move forward. We know there is still much work to be done, and that's exactly what we will continue to work towards. With the international break currently underway, it's a great opportunity to double our efforts, and we will give it our all and remain focused."  

“This period has been very tough, with 11 games without a win, and I won’t hide that. We need to stay strong both mentally and physically and be fully prepared. This is a battle, and we have many more games to play. We will continue to work hard and strive for our first victory. I hope that after this first win, more victories will follow.”  

Speaking about his disappointment with the result against Chelsea, Totti Gomez said: "The game was still very tough, especially after we played well in the first half. In the second half, we mainly focused on defense because we knew the goal was to get points. Despite a good first half, we hoped to perform even better in the second half, but away games are always challenging and getting points is not easy. I am proud of all the players' performance, and we will continue to work hard."  

“We knew our opponents created many chances in the first half and would definitely launch a full-scale counterattack in the second half. We defended very solidly and anticipated that they would adjust their tactics. Despite their superior squad and resources, we did our best to defend our goal.”  

“There was a lot of space on the field during the game. After they scored the first goal, we tried to respond, but it was very difficult. We tried to strengthen our attack and create more shooting opportunities, but the opponent then scored two goals in quick succession, which was very tough for us.”
