On September 11th , in the 2025 LPL playoffs, WBG faced TES with their "scientific research lineup." After four rounds of competition, TES, with its more stable teamfight execution, defeated their opponent 3-1 and successfully advanced to the upper bracket finals .

In the first game, WBG started strong, controlling the dragon and brood through counter-camping and teamfights in the early stage, but was suppressed by TES's double C in the mid-term offense and defense.
