The 21st round of the 2025/26 Bundesliga season will feature another crucial match, with Borussia Dortmund traveling to face Wolfsburg. Niko Kovac stated that the team must take control of its destiny and cannot afford to be complacent.
In their last match, Borussia Dortmund secured a dramatic 3-2 victory over Heidenheim at home, thanks to a goal from Varmad Anton and a brace from Girassi. With this fourth consecutive win, Dortmund currently sits in second place in the standings with 45 points, six points behind defending champions Bayern Munich and three points ahead of third-placed Hoffenheim.
Borussia Dortmund coach Niko Kovac said, "We are currently in a good position in the standings, and we can be satisfied. However, the teams behind us will do their best to catch up. We must continue to work hard and not be complacent. We must take our destiny into our own hands and make sure we don't give other teams a chance to catch up with us."
