The second round of the 2025/26 Premier League season staged another focus match. Arsenal, at the Emirates Stadium, relied on goals from Timberwolves, Saka and Džekeres to defeat newly promoted Leeds United 5-0.
Eight minutes into the match, Arsenal created an attacking opportunity. Ødegaard received a pass from Saka near the edge of the penalty area, adjusted his steps, and then took a long shot, but the ball hit the side netting. In the 16th minute, Leeds United made a pass error, and Džekeres fell to the ground in the penalty area and shot wide.
In the 20th minute, Leeds United took a corner kick, and Struijk headed the ball, but the ball was blocked by Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya.
