New Leicester City manager Matti Cifuentes was pleased with his side's performance, with more than 20 players featuring in his first friendly in charge of the club, which saw them beat FC Schalegski 1-0.  

Jordan Ayew scored in the 70th minute to seal the victory for the team, which was also their third victory in three games this summer. Coach Martí Cifuentes was satisfied with this and stressed that winning is also important even in pre-season. The 43-year-old coach also hopes to observe as many players as possible and give them the opportunity to show themselves in order to better evaluate the entire team.
