West Ham United manager Graham Potter has confirmed Aaron Wan-Bissaka's injury is no longer a problem ahead of their Premier League match at home to Southampton.

Wan-Bissaka has been suffering from a toe injury this week and even received an injection for treatment. However, in the pre-match press conference, Potter revealed that Wan-Bissaka is expected to play in the game against Southampton.

Potter said: "Aaron has a little problem, a toe needs to be dealt with, but it's not a big problem. We will assess his condition further on Friday, but at the moment, he is very likely to play against Southampton."

The 27-year-old Wan Bissaka has played in all consecutive Premier League games for West Ham United since joining from Crystal Palace last summer. Whether he plays on the left or right, his performance has made important contributions to the team.

Compared with Wan Bissaka's injury, it will take time for another player, Clissoncio Somerville, to return. Earlier, Somerville had a hamstring strain and had been out for several weeks.

When Porter mentioned Somerville's condition, he said: "Somerville is still training with the team's medical team. His injury is more complicated and it will take a few weeks for him to return."
