Former Liverpool legendary German head coach Jürgen Klopp has denied the fake rumours claiming that he would become Roma's new head coach through his agent Marc Kosicke on Tuesday.
Kosice refuted the rumours in an interview with Egyptian media outlet Win Win's resident renowned Liverpool team correspondent Ismail Mahmoud.
Kosik angrily hit out that: "Klopp coaching at Roma? This is not true. This is another completely nonsense fake news. I can even say that I am tired of having to respond to Jurgen's name being constantly linked to head coach positions at many major clubs."
Upon verification, the culprit who falsely claim that Klopp will become Roma's new head new coach is Italian media outlet La Stampa!
On May 19, La Stampa only relied on a post on social media that a netizen claimed to have seen a man who looked like Jürgen Klopp walking his dog on the streets of Rome, and then fabricated the news that the legendary Reds head coach had reached an agreement with Roma.
The article "confidently" claimed that Klopp had agreed to sign a three-year contract with I Giallorossi which will run until the summer of 2028, and would officially replace the experienced head coach Claudio Ranieri as the Serie A powerhouse's new head coach on July 1.
It is worth mentioning that this is already the third time that Klopp has been rumoured to become the new head coach of a European giant in the near future since he left the Premier League champions in the summer of 2024. In addition to Roma, the Reds head coach was also recently falsely claimed as the new head coach of Real Madrid and Juventus.
