Essugo, who is from Portugal, moved to Premier League giants Chelsea from Sporting CP earlier this month, and the midfielder said he hopes to win many championships with the team and is eager to make history with the club.

The 20-year-old Essugo was loaned to Las Palmas during the 2024/25 season and made 27 appearances in the La Liga and contributed one goal.
