Chelsea convinicingly hammered 10-men Paris Saint-Germain 3-0 in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup final at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, USA on Sunday, winning the tournament again after three years.

In the first half, Palmer scored twice from the same position, and João Pedro volleyed into the net from close range. In the second half, Dembélé's shot was bravely blocked, Delap's long-range shot was spectacularly saved, and João Neves was sent-off for maliciously pulling Cucurella's hair. In the end, Chelsea thrashed 10-man Paris Saint-Germain 3-0.

First Half

In the 8th minute, João Pedro passes back from the center of the box. Cole Palmer quickly followed up and upon receiving the pass, volleyed with his left foot from the center of the box, but his shot hit the left side of the net and went just slightly wide of the post.

In the 22nd minute, Malo Gusto passes back from the right side of the box, and Palmer quickly followed up and upon receiving the pass, volleyed the ball with his left foot from the center of the box. The ball flew straight into the bottom left corner of the net. Chelsea broke the deadlock first to take a 1-0 lead!

8 minutes later, Chelsea made a deadly quick counterattack. Levi Colwill made a long pass from his own back half. After successfully beating the offside trap, Palmer quickly followed up, got the ball, dribbled and cuts into the center of the box before volleying the ball with his left foot. The ball flew straight into the bottom left corner of the net. The England international scored twice in the game! Chelsea quickly expanded their lead to 2-0! This is Palmer's 18th goal in all competitions this season!

In the 43rd minute, Palmer made a through pass from the right wing. After successfully beating the offside trap, João Pedro quickly followed up, got the ball and took a few steps before volleying the ball into the center of the net with his right foot from a very close distance in the box against the outrushing. Gianluigi Donnarumma. Chelsea expanded its lead again to 3-0! This is the Brazil international forward's third goal since joining the Blues two weeks ago!

At the end of the first half, Chelsea was already leading Paris Saint-Germain by 3-0 as they entered the halftime break.

Second Half

Both teams switched sides as the match continued. In the 52nd minute, Désiré Doué passes horizontally from the right wing. His pass was initially blocked and cleared off not far away by Colwill. After picking up the loose ball, Ousmane Dembélé pused the ball pushed with his right foot from a very close distance in the box, but his shot was saved by Robert Sánchez. Paris Saint-Germain missed a golden opportunity to pull a goal back!

In the 68th minute, Andrey Santos passes horizontally from the left wing. Liam Delap quickly followed up, got the ball, dribbled and cuts towards the edge of the penalty area before taking a long shot with his right foot, but his shot was spectacularly saved by Donnarumma and went out for a corner.

In the 85th minute, João Neves was maliciously hit by Marc Cucurella, and he maliciously pulled the latter's hair in retaliation. The referee immediately issued a yellow card to the former, but the VAR assistant referee immediately intervened. The referee walked to the sidelines to watch the VAR video replay and ruled that João Neves' behaviour was an illegal use of violence, thus he upgraded the decision to a red card and sent João Neves off directly! Les Parisiens was forced to finish the match with 10-men!

When the final whistle is blown, Chelsea easily hammered 10-men Paris Saint-Germain 3-0 and won the Club World Cup for the second time in their club's history.

After the game, Donnarumma became furious after João Pedro allegedly provoked his opponenets and started a physical conflict with him. The situation got out of control and even turned into a chaotic group fight.
