Brazil held Tunisia to a 1-1 draw in an international friendly at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy in Lille, France, on Tuesday.

In the first half, Bento nearly conceded a goal after a clearance error in his own penalty area, before Mastouri volleyed and scored, while Estêvão converted a penalty later on. In the second half, Paquetá's penalty flew high out of the pitch. In a crucial moment, Estêvão was fouled in the penalty area, but was deemed to have dived and denied a penalty. Ultimately, Brazil drew 1-1 with Tunisia, as the Seleção's chance at establishing a winning streak was abruptly ended.

First Half

In the 12th minute, Brazil won a free kick. Estêvão took the free kick from outside the penalty area by directly taking a left-footed shot, but his shot was saved by Aymen Dahmen.

2o minutes later, Tunisia launched a quick counter-attack. Bento made a clearance error in his own penalty area, but fortunately, Brazil's defenders managed to force Ferjani Sassi to the right flank by the byline after he intercepted the ball, preventing him from shooting. The Seleção escaped a close call!

In the 23rd minute, Tunisia launched a deadly counter-attack. Ali Abdi intercepted the ball and crossed into the box from the left wing. After beating the offside trap and quickly following up, Hazem Mastouri volleyed and scored by slotting the ball into the bottom left corner of the net with a right-footed shot. Tunisia broked the deadlock first by taking a 0-1 lead!

3 minutes later, Rodrygo passes horizontally from the left wing. Casemiro quickly followed up, got the ball and took a few steps before taking a right-footed long shot from the edge of the penalty area, but his shot flew high out of the pitch.

In the 31st minute, Rodrygo passed back from the left wing. Éder Militão quickly followed up and upon receiving the pass, took right-footed long shot from outside the penalty area, but his shot flew high out of the pitch.

8 minutes later, Matheus Cunha was brought to the ground in the penalty area by Dylan Bronn. Cunha protested, but the referee ignored him until the VAR assistant referee intervened. After reviewing the VAR, the refereeing team ruled that Bronn's foul was undeniable, thus Brazil was awarded a penalty!

Estêvão converted the penalty with by scoring with his left foot, while Dahmen misjudged the direction, Brazil equalized the scoreline at 1-1! This is the Chelsea wonderkid's fourth goal in his last four matches!

At halftime, Brazil and Tunisia were temporarily tied at 1-1.

Second Half

Both teams switched sides as the match continued. In the 54th minute, Hannibal Mejbri played a through ball from his own back half, Elias Saad quickly followed up, got the ball, cuts inside towards the edge of the penalty area before taking a right-footed shot, but his shot went just slightly wide of the top right corner of the post.

In the 77th minute, Vinícius Júnior passes horizontally from the byline at the left wing. Vitor Roque quickly followed up, got the ball, took a few steps, and was brought down by Sassi at the byline on the left side of the box, the referee blew his whistle and immediately awarded Brazil a penalty!

Lucas Paquetá took the penalty y striking the ball with his left foot, but his shot awfully flew high out of the pitch. Brazil missed a golden opportunity to come from behind and lead over Tunisia!

In the 90th minute, Estêvão appeared to be brought down by Morthada Ben Ouanes after dribbling and cutting into the right side of the box. The VAR assistant referee immediately intervened. However, after reviewing the VAR, the refereeing team determined that Estêvão had likely dived and therefore decided not to award Brazil a penalty!

When the final whistle is blown, Brazil held Tunisia to a 1-1 draw.
