The fifth round of the 2025/26 UEFA Champions League will feature another key match, with Arsenal hosting Bayern Munich from the Bundesliga. Mikel Arteta stated that the Gunners share the same ambitions as Vincent Kompany's team and look forward to this excellent test to see where Arsenal stands.

After defeating Slavia Prague 3-0 in the last round of the Champions League, Arsenal are currently ranked first in the standings, tied with Bayern Munich in first place.

It's worth mentioning that in the earlier North London derby in the Premier League, Arsenal defeated Tottenham Hotspur 4-1 at the Emirates Stadium, thanks to a goal from Trossard and a hat-trick from Eze, and maintained their top position in the Premier League standings.
