England star Kane recently talked about his performance this season in an interview and expressed his gratitude to coach Kompany for helping him improve his skills and become a better player.

So far in the 2025/26 Bundesliga season, Kane has contributed 11 goals and 3 assists for Bayern Munich, including several hat tricks. In the Champions League, Kane has scored 4 goals.

It is worth mentioning that Kane had earlier helped the England national team advance to the 2026 World Cup finals in advance.

Kane, 32, said: "This is definitely the best start to a season in my career. I feel great. I have been in Munich for a few years now and everything off the pitch is stable. Kane continued, "When Kompany first took over, there were many doubts from the outside world, but he did an excellent job. One of the things that impressed me was that he placed great emphasis on passing the ball near the penalty area. I feel that I have improved a lot in this aspect. I am not as easily trapped in the situation of possessing the ball for too long as before, and my play is more fluent. I am always pursuing improvement, and he constantly pushes me forward."

"Whether you've scored 400 goals or none, he wants to make you a better player and a better person, and he definitely did that with me."
