Sevilla midfielder Lucien Agoume said at a press conference that after the offseason adjustment, he can't wait to return to the field, especially when the team just won.  

The midfielder said: "The time after a win is always pleasant. In the past ten days, we have maintained a good atmosphere and smiles in training, but at the same time we are thinking about how to continue winning. This is just the beginning and we will keep working hard to get more victories like the ones we have had so far."  

When asked about the club's decision to increase the transfer fee this summer, he said: "I think it shows the club's recognition and trust in me. Since I joined, they have always given me great support, which has enabled me to grow both on the pitch and in life. I am very happy and I believe the club feels the same way."  

He made it clear that the team's top priority right now is the upcoming match against Real Mallorca. "We're only focused on the next game now, that's the most important thing," he said. "At the start of the season, in the second round, people were still saying we'd be relegated. Now, they're talking about Europe. But for us, the only thing we can focus on right now is Saturday's game, and we have to concentrate on our performance."  

Speaking about head coach Matías Almeida, he said: "He is the fourth coach I have had during my time at the club, and I have maintained a good relationship with all of them. Each coach has taught me something different. This year, under the leadership of Matías Almeida, he has infected the team with his personality, experience and the spirit of giving his all in every game. There is always room for improvement, and this is what we strive for every day in training."  

In addition to his daily work at the club, Lucien Agoume is also eager to continue his progress with the national team. He said: "I have played in all the lower leagues in France, and now it is time to make the step up to the national team. Of course, I will do my best to play the best football for Sevilla, but the final judgment is not mine. I don't pay much attention to external opinions, because for me, the most important thing is the opinions of the coach and teammates. In life, everyone has their own role, and I prefer to focus on myself, the coaching staff, and my teammates, because they are the ones who know me best."  

When talking about his personal future, Lucien Agoume responded: "I have seen some media reporting on transfer rumors, but I have not had any contact with other clubs. We have discussed before that the club is willing to pay a higher fee for my transfer, and our position has always been consistent. We all hope that I can stay here. We have common goals and hope to work together for a long time and strive to achieve more important achievements."
