Frankfurt announced on Friday that it had signed Swedish attacking midfielder Love Alhoff from Blomapokarna. The 17-year-old is considered an outstanding representative of the new generation of Swedish midfielders, and the transfer fee is 4.6 million euros.
According to the official announcement, Alhoff will officially join on January 1, 2026. He has signed a long-term contract with Frankfurt, the specific number of years has not yet been disclosed.
Regarding Alhoff's joining, Frankfurt sports director Timo Hatun explained: "Lowe Alhoff is extremely talented. At a young age, he has shown amazing fighting spirit and excellent ball-holding ability. We are very happy about his arrival and hope that he will continue to grow in Frankfurt."
"He plays an important role for Bromaporca and has had regular playing time, allowing him to improve in familiar surroundings. He will finish the season in Sweden and join us early next year."
Love Alhoff came from the youth training system of Bromma Pokana and made his debut for the first team in the Swedish Cup on February 16, 2025. So far, he has made 6 appearances in Bromma Pokana and contributed 1 goal.
Alhoff also played 6 times for the Swedish U17 team, scoring 2 goals and providing 2 assists.
After completing the contract extension, Alhoff said: "I have heard a lot of good things about Frankfurt and felt the passionate atmosphere of Frankfurt on the spot. The fans of Frankfurt are very enthusiastic, and more importantly, the club provides excellent conditions for the development of players. My compatriot Hugo Larsson is a good example, and he also gave me a lot of advice. In the end, I made the decision without hesitation and can't wait to spend the next few years in this passionate environment."
