Barcelona announced on its official website on Monday that the club has signed naturalized Sweden U21s international forward wonderkid Roony Bardghji from Copenhagen.
According to Barça's official statement, Badghi has signed on a long-term four-year with the club which runs until the summer of 2029. According to the La Liga regulations, his release clause is set at €500 million.
In addition, according to the news brought by Sky Sports' renowned Italian transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, the La Liga defending champions paid a total of €2 million in transfer fees to Copenhagen to sign Bardghji.

Roony Bardghji, who is only 19 years old, was born in Kuwait on November 15, 2005. He is 1.73 meters tall and plays as a right winger. He has dual citizenship of Kuwait and Sweden.
At the age of 6, Bardghji and his family fled to Sweden to settle down in search of political asylum. In 2012, he began to play in the youth academy of two local non-league clubs in Sweden. In 2019, he joined the Malmö youth academy. The following year, he moved to the Copenhagen youth adacemy and completed his Copenhagen first-team debut in November 2021. At the age of 16, he became the youngest debutant in the club's history.
A week later, Badghi began to score his debut goal and became one of the most talked about wonderkids in European football.
During his four-year spell with Løverne, Badji played 84 times for Copenhagen in all competitions, scored 15 goals and assisted once, and won the Danish Superliga three times and the Danish Cup twice with the club.
