Jorgen Strand Larsen believes Wolves should have done better against Villa Park, lamenting the narrow gap that has consistently hampered the unlucky team. In the 16th minute, striker John Arias scored from a cross by Jackson Chachova, but the referee ruled him offside, denying him his fourth goal of the season. Ultimately, a powerful shot from Boubacar Kamara in the second half decided the match.  

In the second half, Jorgen Strand Larsen's shot was saved by Emiliano Martinez, and his subsequent close-range effort near the far post was also blocked by Pau Torres' foot. However, he believes that as the team continues to improve under Rob Edwards' leadership, luck will eventually begin to turn in their favor.  

After the match, Jørgen Strand Larsen said: "First of all, I am very disappointed because we should have done better today. In the past two games, I think the team played very well in the first half, but we failed to maintain our advantage until the end, which is exactly what we are lacking right now."  

“I should have scored today, and the team deserved to score as well, but the opponent’s strength prevented us from advancing. We were often unlucky because we were often just slightly offside when we scored, which was very frustrating. I don’t know what to say because I think we played very well, maybe the best game of the season, until they scored.”

“Rob Edwards and his team played exceptionally well; they were full of energy. Although we conceded a long-range shot from outside the box, it wasn't anyone's fault. Obviously, we could have reacted more quickly, which is what we're lacking right now.”  

“We also created some excellent chances. Yersin’s shot hit the crossbar, and my shot in the second half was blocked by Torres. However, I didn’t get a chance to score on the rebound, so luck really wasn’t on our side. Right now, everything seems to be against us. But obviously, when the team plays well, good luck will come. Hopefully, things will improve, because I think we’ve been very positive in the last two games.”  

“We played exceptionally well today. For most of the game, the team was in control, and we completely dominated the opponent in the first half. We should have taken the lead, but the current situation is slightly unfavorable for us.”

But sometimes, when someone is in front of the goalkeeper, the referee will call offside, and sometimes he won’t. Maybe this time it was clearly offside. That’s our situation right now, and we just need to keep working hard.
