In the 32nd round of the 2024-25 Premier League, Nottingham Forest will face Everton at home. Coach Nuno Espirito Santo said their future is in their own hands.
In this season's Premier League, Nottingham Forest has performed well and currently ranks third with 57 points. If Nottingham Forest maintains their form, they will successfully qualify for the Champions League next season.
Recently, Santo accepted an interview with a TV station. He hoped that the players could maintain their dedication throughout the season and ensure that the team finished the game in the strongest posture. Santo said: "We must fight for every ball and compete for every inch of the field."
"Now we have to think about everything we have and the future is in our hands. We can say that because we have been working very hard and the players have given their all in every game."
"The players' commitment has been consistent and we will face opponents who may be stronger in some aspects, but they have to work hard to succeed. This is a long sprint and we have maintained the speed of the spring, but now it is the final sprint."
"There is pressure in every game but it is a different kind of pressure and we will face different situations at the end of the season. Teams that maybe don't have much to play for become very dangerous because their pressure is completely different."
Nottingham Forest now has seven Premier League games left, against Everton, Tottenham, Brentford, Crystal Palace, Leicester City, West Ham United and Chelsea. Nottingham Forest also has an FA Cup semi-final against Manchester City.
