Ryan Gravenberch is proud of his role in the Premier League title win and says it gave him the chance to show himself to the world again.  

The midfielder won the Carabao Cup in his first season with Liverpool in 2023-24 and played a key role in the team's journey to a 20th top-flight title.  

Under the coach's tactical arrangement, he was deployed in a deeper midfield position and played in all 34 games throughout the season, helping the team to lock in their dominance in the standings in April.  

Ryan Gravenberch's form also saw him return to the Netherlands national team, ultimately winning the Premier League Young Player of the Season award, adding to a trophy list that already included Dutch domestic titles with Ajax and the Bundesliga with Bayern Munich.  

Ryan Grafenberch said: "I haven't fully digested this result yet. Maybe I can really appreciate it later. I think everything happened too suddenly."  

"Winning the Premier League is without a doubt one of the biggest achievements you can have. It's been like a festival for four weeks, from the celebrations to the bus parade, every moment has been amazing.  

"This season has been amazing and I'm so proud. The Premier League is the best league in the world and I've shown once again that I can do it and fulfilled my dream."  

Speaking about the manager's adjustment to his role last summer, Ryan Gravenberch added: "When the coach told me where he wanted me to play, I was thinking, when can I get into the starting lineup?"  

“I believe I can do it, even though I’m still a little uncertain defensively at times. But I do feel like I’ve made a lot of progress because everything is flowing more naturally.”  

"From the first training session, our preparations went well. As the season progressed, opponents started to press us more, especially in the middle. But this also opened up other spaces for us to attack, and we had to find free teammates better."  

"How am I physically? That's a good question. It's all about recovery and the team at Liverpool have done a great job of that. Football is more of a running sport now, running non-stop."  

"There is no doubt that the intensity of the Premier League games is much higher than before, especially in terms of physical fitness. I have a natural ability to run well. However, at Ajax, our training focuses more on technical and tactical awareness. In England, the amount of running has increased significantly, which has become a key factor in the game."
