Abdoulaye Doucoure will leave Everton when his current contract expires at the end of next month.  

The midfielder, who scored a vital, decisive goal against Bournemouth at Goodison Park in May 2023 to help the team maintain their dominance in the top flight, will go down in Blues history as he is set to leave the club after nearly five years on Merseyside.  

Ahead of this week's season finale against Newcastle United, Abdoulaye Doucoure has made 165 appearances for Everton since joining from Watford in September 2020, scoring 21 goals.  

Abdoulaye Doucoure's crucial second-half goal against Bournemouth to keep Everton in the Premier League is undoubtedly one of the defining moments in the club's recent history.  

Although the club offered the 32-year-old a contract extension, he decided to look for a new challenge and leave the team.
