March 5th - The Hornets defeated the Celtics 118-89. For the Hornets, Knipple scored 20 points and grabbed 4 rebounds, while Miller contributed 18 points and 5 rebounds. For the Celtics, Derrick White had a game-high 29 points, and Jaylen Brown added 20 points, 11 rebounds, and 7 assists.

The Hornets started strong with an 8-0 run. White broke the scoring drought late in the quarter with a floater, and Brown then attacked the basket repeatedly to narrow the gap. Ball hit two consecutive three-pointers to stabilize the situation, and the Hornets led 35-23 at the end of the first quarter. In the second quarter, Miller and Knipple continued their outside shooting to extend the lead. Although Brown and White helped the Celtics close the gap, the Hornets still led 64-43 at halftime.

After switching sides, Miller opened the scoring with a dunk, and White followed with consecutive scores in an attempt to lead the Hornets to catch up. The Hornets, however, relied on consecutive three-pointers from Knipple and Coby White to extend their lead to over 20 points again. At the end of the third quarter, the Hornets maintained their lead at 91-68 . In the final quarter, Ball hit consecutive three-pointers to further extend the lead, and the Celtics' comeback attempt failed. Ultimately, the Hornets defeated the Celtics 118-89 .
