Scotland aims to qualify for the World Cup; Robertson believes anything is possible.

Scotland, the "Highland Warriors," came back from three goals down to lose 2-3 to Greece in another round of 2026 World Cup qualifiers, thanks to goals from Ben Doc and Ryan Christie. Scotland captain Neil Robertson stated that the final round of qualifiers was an opportunity for the team to secure first place in their group, and he also expressed his belief that anything is possible.

Seven minutes into the game, Bakastas scored, giving Greece a 1-0 lead. In the second half, Karezas and Zolis added goals, extending Greece's lead to 3-0.

Although Ben Doc and Ryan Christie scored two goals to pull Scotland back, they ultimately lost 2-3 to Greece.

After losing 3 points, Scotland is currently second in the standings with 10 points, one point behind first-placed Denmark. Therefore, Steve Clarke believes that if the team wins the final match against Denmark, they will qualify for the World Cup finals as the top team. Otherwise, they will have to participate in the playoffs to try and continue their World Cup journey.

Liverpool's Andy Robertson said, "We can't afford to concede three goals, it's very disappointing. We had eight or nine big chances, so we were good in attack, but we didn't perform at the level we should have in defense."

"We had a chance to leave with a draw after being down 0-3, and no one would have been surprised if we had drawn. But a draw wouldn't have really meant anything, since Denmark drew with Belarus."

Robertson continued, "The next game is the crucial final, which is exactly what we can ask for. From the beginning of the group stage, many people were not optimistic about us, but now we have a chance to fight for first place in the group in the final, so anything is possible."

"When we were down 1-3, we heard cheers from the fans, which we found strange at the time. We didn't find out that Denmark had drawn the game until after it was over."

In addition, Robertson said, "We are very disappointed with the result, but we can't ask for more as we are able to play Denmark at home and we still have the playoffs to play."
