Alejandro Ganacho delivered a standout performance in the previous League Cup away win against Cardiff City, becoming one of the team's key players. Now, the winger hopes to continue his good form and help the team defeat Arsenal to reach the final. Chelsea previously secured their place in this stage with away victories against Lincoln City, Wolves, and Cardiff City.  

In the quarter-final match held in South Wales, Alejandro Ganacho came on as a substitute in the second half and changed the course of the game. The Argentine striker scored two goals to help his team win 3-1.
