Alex Scott believes the team needs to unite and give their all to win the game.

Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott stressed the need for unity after the team's 1-0 defeat to Everton, which marked Bournemouth's first home loss of the season, with Jack Grealish's deflected shot proving decisive in securing the victory for David Moyes' team.

Alex Scott, who played 80 minutes in the match, said the team remained united even during slumps. He stated, "The head coach has spoken with us, and we're not far from our level at the beginning of the season. It's not that our form has declined drastically, it's just that we haven't scored points in the last five games."

"We probably should have scored points in the last five games, and we probably shouldn't have scored in some games at the beginning of the season. That's football, that's competitive sport."

“We must stay united. The team is currently facing suspensions and injuries, which is a very difficult situation. But that’s the Premier League; every team goes through similar situations. We must stick together. Some players who didn’t get playing time before may now have a chance to showcase themselves. For different players, this may be their moment to seize the opportunity.”

This defeat moved Bournemouth to 14th place in the top flight standings, with 19 points from their first 14 games. Alex Scott, reflecting on the match, said: "It was a very frustrating game, very tough, and at times felt like the game was over. Neither side created any clear chances until a deflected goal."

“For us, we must reassess our situation. I believe we have gone five games without a win. We need to make changes; our current performance is far from good enough. The upcoming game against Chelsea will be an excellent opportunity to correct our mistakes.”

“I think our defensive performance improved significantly today, but we had problems in attack and failed to create any effective chances. In the Premier League, having only two shots on target is clearly not enough to win a game.”
