Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott has said he may be in the best form of his career. The 22-year-old has impressed under Andoni Iraola, starting 27 of 30 Premier League appearances this season and making his mark in every league match of the 2025/26 season.

During Bournemouth's 10-game unbeaten run in the league, Alex Scott played the full 90 minutes, a record that currently stands as the longest unbeaten run in the league. Reflecting on his season, the midfielder said, "Personally, this has undoubtedly been my best season."

“I feel very confident right now, and I’m in better shape than ever before. I’m probably at the best stage of my career, which makes me very happy. In the past few weeks, I’ve tried several positions, including number 10, number 8, and number 6.”

“For me, this is still a continuous learning process. I continue to learn from my teammates, the head coach, and his tactical requirements. I am very happy with my performance this season, especially in recent weeks. My confidence has been growing, and I have maintained a good level of confidence throughout the season. As I said, I have shown my best.”  

Bournemouth are currently tenth in the league, and a win would see them move up to eighth. He added, "If we can turn these draws into wins, that would be ideal, and I think that's the team's most important goal right now."
