On the eve of the Champions League group stage, Real Madrid coach Xabi Alonso attended the pre-match press conference and looked forward to the upcoming strong dialogue.

Alonso said the team is fully prepared for the match against Juventus and is looking forward to showing dominance at their home stadium, the Bernabéu. Alonso said: "Tomorrow's game is a classic match in European football. Juventus is one of those clubs that makes football great."

"We've played against them many times, I've watched them on TV and played in some of them myself. We're well prepared and we're eager to win our third Champions League trophy and get the season off to a good start."

"The Bernabéu always brings a special energy to big matches. We want the fans to enjoy the game and we want to inspire them with our performances and make the stadium our source of strength."

Speaking of their opponent Juventus, Alonso pointed out that although the opponent's recent form has fluctuated, they must not be taken lightly: "They just defeated Inter Milan a few weeks ago. It was a wonderful victory. Italian teams are very threatening even in difficult times. We must remain vigilant."

Alonso also praised Juventus youngster Kenan Yildiz: "His growth has been impressive. He has shown great potential both at Juventus and in the national team. I have known him since he was in the Bayern youth academy and I am very happy to see his progress today."

On the tactical level, Alonso stressed the need for rhythm and balance in the team: "Juventus' tactics are flexible, with frequent positional changes and wide openings. If we are not organized tightly without the ball, they will quickly find open players. We must control the tempo, keep the ball moving quickly, and maintain depth and decisiveness in our attacks."
