Bournemouth Football Club has announced that French left-back Adrien Truft has officially joined the club from Rennes. The Belgium-born defender has signed a five-year contract with Bournemouth.  

Since making his first-team debut in 2020, Adrien Truft has been firmly in Rennes' starting lineup. Previously, he played for Rennes B for two years and won the U17 and U19 French Championships with the team during his youth training. Adrien Truft was appointed captain of Rennes last year and made his 150th appearance for the team in the match against Marseille in May this year.  

The defender has extensive international experience, having represented France at the U18, U21 and senior national levels, winning a silver medal at the 2024 Olympics.  

After Adrian Truft completed the signing, President of Football Operations Thiago Pinto said: "We are very happy to be able to bring in such an excellent player at the beginning of the transfer window. Adrian Truft has always been a player we highly recognize. Although he is only 23 years old, he has accumulated rich game experience for the team."
