February 6th - The Wizards defeated the Pistons 126-117 . Riley contributed 20 points , 6 rebounds , and 5 assists; Cooper had 18 points and 5 assists; and Jampane and Vukcevic each scored 14 points. For the Pistons, besides Cunningham, Robinson scored 21 points, but their overall defense was visibly weak, ultimately leading to a disappointing loss.

At the start of the game, the Wizards quickly established an advantage, fueled by outside shooting and fast breaks, extending their lead to as much as 17 points.
