In the 2025 NBA Draft, 21-year-old Danny Wolf was selected by the Brooklyn Nets with his outstanding performance, and the power forward said he was very grateful for the support of his brothers and sister along the way.
Danny Wolf, who holds American and Israeli citizenship, studied at the University of Michigan and played in 37 games in the 2024/25 season, averaging 13.2 points and 9.7 rebounds per game.
Danny Wolf said, "I have two of the best brothers in the world and an amazing sister who I love very much. They have supported me all the way to where I am today, and they will continue to be with me as I move forward in this league."
"It's a dream come true to be here. Brooklyn is an incredible place, one of the best cities in the world. It has a great front office and a great coaching staff, and I really like the direction we're going."
Danny Wolf continued, "I didn't expect to wait so long. If I were asked before the draft, I definitely wouldn't say it would take so long. But this is what happened, and it's not something I can control. In the end I came to an incredible place. This is a great opportunity. I will use this experience as motivation and keep moving forward."
"The front office knows what they want, and coach Jordi Fernandez is great. I've watched a lot of Brooklyn Nets games this year, and he's an exciting coach, very smart, and he's coached two of the best big men in the world. I know what I have to do is learn as much as I can from him and try to grow in his system."
In addition, Danny Wolf also said, "I don't think being selected in which pick defines me. This is just the beginning of entering the league. My basketball journey has been completed step by step."
